Passionately mentoring the youth in order for them to realise their educational aspirations.

Love and Grow Mentorship is a program established in April 2013 intended to mentor young girls between the ages of 12 and 19 within the informal settlement called Msawawa in Johannesburg. During the operation in the community, numerous requests were received from parents to incorporate boys in the program, as boys face similar social and educational challenges.

The organisation evolved to mentor young boys from January 2016. Furthermore, the enrollment criteria changed to mentor youths from age of 14 to 23.

Our initiatives were meticulously designed to offer comprehensive support and development for our mentees, equipping them with the tools and knowledge to excel in various aspects of life.

Our mentorship program incorporates both one-on-one telephonic sessions, conducted monthly for an hour, and group sessions tailored to address specific needs within our mentee community. These group sessions, such as career guidance workshops held semi-annually, are instrumental in shaping our mentees’ future.
